In partnership with Encounter Travel, we are excited to lead our third annual 1:12 Project Mission Trip—a Baseball &amp; Volleyball Sports Camp in the Dominican Republic. Over four impactful days, you’ll have the chance to make a difference, share your faith, and build lasting bonds with the local community. With a chaplain guiding our mission, this experience will be both spiritually and personally transformative.With a dedicated chaplain by our side, we will embark on a profound encounter with Christ, using the universal language of sports as our vessel. Day "0" (January 8th)

Meet the team at the aiport!<ul>
<li>Early departure from Newark Liberty International Airport for Santo Domingo.</li>
<li>Arrive Santo Domingo, lunch at the airport.</li>
<li>Board bus for a 6 hour drive to Bánica.</li>
<li>Opportunity for introductions and talks on the bus ride.</li>
<li>Upon arrival we will settle into our accommodations, have a welcome dinner, and some orientation.</li>
</ul>

Travel Day

<li>Morning wake up and head to prayer as a team</li>
<li>Breakfast</li>
<li>Morning sports camps / clinics divided by age and gender</li>
<li>Lunch</li>
<li>Afternoon games</li>
<li>Evening dinner and reflections with the team</li>
</ul>

Day 2

<ul>
<li>Start the day with Mass with the local kids</li>
<li>Breakfast and a bible study</li>
<li>Afternoon tournament (American Team vs. Dominican Teams)</li>
<li>Evening dinner, reflections and social time on the town square</li>
</ul>

Day 3

<ul>
<li>Prayer as a team</li>
<li>Breakfast</li>
<li>Morning sports camp / games</li>
<li>Lunch</li>
<li>Afternoon awards ceremony, testimonies &amp; celebration</li>
<li>Evening dinner as a team and final reflections</li>
</ul>

Day 4

<li>Early morning depart from Bánica</li>
<li>Arrive Santo Domingo - lunch on the Caribbean waterfront</li>
<li>Head to airport and fly back to Newark</li>
<li>Catch flights home</li>
</ul>

Day 5

Airfare to / from Newark

Our flight will depart at 8:45AM from Newark Airport on Friday, January 9th. If you are not local to the area, it will be necessary to arrive in Newark early and spend the night near the airport.
