The overall trip was exceptional and we learned a lot about St. Cabrini and her followers. It was definitely a lot in the 9 days there.Almost everything was well thought out. There were several couples that were not as able to make some it the arduous hikes but did very well as a result of other pilgrims’ help. We wish that we had a little more time with Sister at the Cabrini school and home and could have spent some more time with them and learned more about how we could help them. The food was good but too plentiful and we hated to see what was probably a lot of waste.
Going to the Sistine Chapel would have been wonderful, especially for those that haven’t been there. We definitely would have enjoyed it again as it was a highlight of a previous trip. We know the lines and the brief time there makes it questionable whether it is ‘worth’ it. The Sister from Mexico at St. Peter’s was remarkable!!
The hotel accommodations were spectacular.
A little more explanation on tipping and then sticking to it would have been good. It was hard to know when and what to tip as we didn’t know the general cost of the meals and some were done at places that really worked hard and were likely not as expensive so it made it tough. The bus drivers request was also awkward. Just a thought.
Can you share contacts of Sisters at Cabrini and St Peters.
Final comment; the trip was fantastic and we’d highly recommend it. Just a few minor things that would, in my opinion, make it more enjoyable.
