Your pilgrimage begins as you arrive in Milan. You’ll transfer to your hotel, where you can drop your bags, check in, and take some time to refresh and settle in after your journey.

Later in the afternoon, we make our way to the heart of the city to visit the magnificent Duomo di Milano, one of the world’s most breathtaking cathedrals. In this soaring masterpiece of faith and beauty, we gather for our Opening Mass, dedicating the days ahead to God’s grace.

After Mass, enjoy a leisurely group stroll through the elegant Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Italy’s oldest and most iconic shopping arcade, known for its glass-vaulted ceilings, historic cafés, and vibrant Milanese atmosphere.

We end the day with a warm and festive Welcome Dinner at Al Cantinone, sharing delicious local cuisine and fellowship as we begin our sacred journey together.

This morning we depart by bus for Codogno, the birthplace of Mother Cabrini’s missionary work and home to her first foundation. Upon arrival, we receive a warm welcome from the Sisters, who continue her mission of charity and hospitality to this day.

We share a simple and heartfelt lunch with the Sisters, enjoying their gracious hospitality and hearing stories that bring Mother Cabrini’s early ministry vividly to life.

In the afternoon, we gather for a session with the community and visit the Mother Cabrini Museum, where letters, artifacts, and personal mementos offer a deeper encounter with her courage, vision, and unwavering faith.

We then unite in prayer for the Divine Mercy Chaplet, followed by Adoration and a moving time of reflection and devotion before the heart of Mother Cabrini, preserved here as a cherished reminder of her love for Christ and the poor. Our day in Codogno continues with the celebration of Mass, giving thanks for the saint whose missionary spirit inspires our pilgrimage.

Afterward, we return to Milan, where the evening is yours to enjoy. Dinner is on your own, with free time to explore Milan’s lively neighborhoods, cafés, and cultural charm at your own pace.

This morning we check out, load the bus, and depart for Sant’Angelo Lodigiano, the birthplace of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini. Here, at the Cabrini Birthplace Museum, we step into the early world of Mother Cabrini—her family home, the rooms where she prayed and dreamed of mission, and the traces of the humble beginnings that shaped a future saint.

We celebrate Mass at the Basilica dei Santi Antonio Abate e Francesca Cabrini, a beautiful and deeply meaningful place of worship dedicated in part to their beloved hometown saint. Surrounded by the faith community that helped nurture her vocation, we offer our prayers for the continued fruitfulness of our pilgrimage.

After Mass, we enjoy lunch with the Cabrini Sisters, an opportunity for fellowship, stories, and shared gratitude for the legacy of Mother Cabrini that continues in their lives and ministries.

In the afternoon, we board our bus and begin the journey to Florence, traveling through the scenic Italian countryside. We will make a stop along the way before arriving in the heart of Tuscany. Upon reaching Florence, we check in and settle into our hotel, taking time to rest and refresh.

The day concludes with a warm Welcome Dinner at Casella 18, where we gather around the table to share a delightful Florentine meal and prepare our hearts for the beauty and grace awaiting us in this remarkable city.

This morning we set out on a walking tour of Florence, discovering the city’s cobblestone streets, elegant piazzas, and world-renowned Renaissance masterpieces. As we take in the history and beauty surrounding us, we encounter the Florence that shaped saints, artists, and the cultural soul of Italy.

Our pilgrimage continues with Mass at the Duomo of Florence, the magnificent Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. Beneath its iconic dome, we gather in prayer, lifting our hearts within one of the most extraordinary churches in the world.

We then enjoy a memorable lunch at I Tre Panche, savoring a spectacular multi-course meal on a rooftop overlooking Florence. Known for its rich local truffles, homemade pasta, and authentic Tuscan flavors, this is a dining experience that captures the essence of the region.

In the afternoon, we embark on a guided tour of the Uffizi Art Gallery, home to masterpieces by Botticelli, Michelangelo, Giotto, and countless Renaissance masters. From sacred art to iconic works that defined Western culture, the Uffizi offers a profound encounter with beauty and human creativity.

The evening is free to explore Florence at your own pace, with dinner on your own. Wander through charming streets, enjoy gelato along the Arno, or relax in a quiet piazza as the city glows at dusk.

We begin the day with our departure from the hotel for Assisi, traveling through the gentle landscapes of Umbria. Our luggage porterage service assists with bags as we enter our hotel, giving you time to drop your personal belongings and freshen up before our pilgrimage continues.

Our first spiritual stop is Sunday Mass at the Basilica of St. Francis, the heart of Assisi and one of the most sacred sites in the Catholic world. Surrounded by the stunning frescoes of Giotto and immersed in the quiet holiness of this cherished basilica, we join in worship and prayer in the city of peace.

We then enjoy lunch at Buca di San Francesco, a welcoming local restaurant offering traditional Umbrian dishes just steps from the basilica.

After lunch, we begin a walking tour of Assisi, making our way to the tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis, the young millennial blessed known for his Eucharistic devotion and profound witness of faith. We take time here for prayer and reflection before continuing to the Basilica of Santa Chiara, where the San Damiano Cross—through which Christ spoke to St. Francis—now hangs, and where St. Clare rests in serene simplicity.

The remainder of the afternoon is free time in Assisi. Wander its quiet medieval streets, pray in a favorite church, enjoy a cappuccino in the piazza, or simply soak in the peace that radiates from this holy hilltop town.

Dinner is on your own, allowing you to discover Assisi’s charming restaurants at your own pace before resting for the night.

We begin the day with Morning Prayer followed by an inspiring Morning Talk, reflecting on the life and legacy of St. Francis and the call to holiness in our own lives.

Next, we celebrate a private Mass at the Basilica of St. Francis, a deeply moving experience within the sacred walls adorned with Giotto’s frescoes. After Mass, a guided tour of the Basilica allows us to delve into the art, history, and spiritual treasures of this iconic pilgrimage site.

Following the tour, our luggage is transported to the bus, and we are provided with a to-go picnic lunch, which we enjoy during our scenic drive to Santa Maria degli Angeli, home of the Portiuncula, the tiny chapel that St. Francis cherished as the heart of his ministry. Here, we take time to pray, reflect, and experience the serenity of this holy site.

In the afternoon, we depart by bus for Rome, enjoying the Italian countryside along the way. Upon arrival in the Eternal City, we check into our hotel and have time to settle in, refresh, and relax before the evening.

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart by bus for the grandeur of St. Peter’s Basilica, the spiritual center of the Catholic Church. Here, we take time to tour the basilica, marveling at its breathtaking architecture, sacred art, and the tombs of saints and popes that inspire the faithful from around the world.

We then celebrate Mass at the Altar of the Cathedra, a deeply meaningful moment of prayer and devotion at one of the basilica’s most sacred altars, honoring the teaching authority of the Pope and the universal Church.

Following Mass, we enjoy lunch at Passpartout Ristorante in Borgo Pio, a charming Roman eatery offering authentic cuisine in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

In the afternoon, we visit the Basilica of St. John Lateran, the cathedral church of the Pope and the mother church of all the churches in Rome. A guided tour highlights its rich history, sacred relics, and beautiful art that have shaped the Church for centuries.

We return by bus to the hotel, where the evening is free for dinner on your own, offering time to explore Rome’s vibrant streets, savor Italian specialties, or simply relax after a spiritually and culturally enriching day.

We begin the day with a bus transfer from the hotel to the Papal Audience, a truly special opportunity to see and hear the Holy Father as he greets pilgrims from around the world. This inspiring encounter offers a moment of blessing, prayer, and spiritual renewal in the heart of the Catholic Church.

After the audience, we travel by bus to Casa Cabrini in Rome, where we enjoy lunch and reflect on the life and enduring legacy of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, whose missionary work touched countless lives in this city.

In the afternoon, we visit two of Rome’s sacred basilicas. At the Basilica of Santa Prassede, we tour the church and venerate the Pillar of the Scourging relic, pausing to pray and reflect on Christ’s passion. We then continue to the Basilica of St. Mary Major, one of the four papal basilicas, to admire its art, history, and spiritual treasures.

We celebrate a private Mass, giving thanks for the graces and blessings of our pilgrimage.

The day—and our journey—concludes with a Final Celebration Dinner at Osteria Emasi, sharing a festive meal and fellowship as we honor the memories, faith, and experiences of this remarkable pilgrimage.

We will start our day with the final Mass of the pilgrimage and then return to the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we gather for a Morning Talk, reflecting on the spiritual graces, experiences, and memories of our pilgrimage.

Following this, we check out and proceed with airport transfers to Rome–Fiumicino Airport (FCO) for our return journey.

We board non-stop flights from Rome to Denver or Newark, carrying with us the blessings of this pilgrimage, the inspiration of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, and the lasting memories of our journey through Italy’s holy sites, sacred art, and timeless culture.
